K Novart Young Prodigy Recital Audition 2026
One online video audition | Worldwide participation
The Young Prodigy Recital Audition supports outstanding young musicians through an accessible one-round video audition and an age-appropriate individual recital opportunity. Applicants may select repertoire that best represents their musical strengths.
Eligibility
Age: 5–20
Instruments: piano, strings, woodwinds, and brass
Nationality: open to participants worldwide
Important Dates
- Application registration deadline: 5 December 2026
- Video submission deadline: 5 December 2026
- Results announcement: 12 December 2026
All submissions are due by 11:59 p.m. Hong Kong Time (UTC+8).
Audition Repertoire and Recital Program
- Young Junior Prodigy (5–8): one free-choice work, approximately 5 minutes. Recital program: approximately 20 minutes.
- Junior Prodigy (9–12): free-choice program, 8–10 minutes. Recital program: approximately 30 minutes.
- Young Artist Prodigy (13–15): free-choice program, 10–15 minutes. Recital program: 30–40 minutes.
- Artist (16–20): free-choice program, 15–18 minutes. Recital program: 40–50 minutes.
There are no required historical periods, composers, sonata movements, or concerto movements. Contrasting repertoire is encouraged for applicants aged 13 and above but is not required for younger applicants.

Selection and Recital Opportunity
- Selected artists will be offered an individual recital program in Europe appropriate to their age division.
- The recital duration will follow the range shown above and may be adjusted according to the artist’s age, repertoire, and readiness.
- The final recital program, venue, date, duration, and performance conditions must be approved by K Novart.
- Selection is based on technique, musicality, interpretation, artistic potential, and readiness to present a recital program.
- K Novart may select more than one artist, one artist, or no artist in a division depending on the audition standard and available programming.
Video and General Rules
- Each work must be recorded in one continuous, unedited take.
- Performances should be memorized unless the work is traditionally performed with a score or prior approval is granted.
- K Novart may use submitted videos and recital recordings for archival and promotional purposes.
- Jury decisions are final and not subject to appeal.

審査曲目・リサイタル時間
- Young Junior Prodigy（5～8歳）：自由曲1曲、約5分。リサイタル：約20分。
- Junior Prodigy（9～12歳）：自由選曲のプログラム、8～10分。リサイタル：約30分。
- Young Artist Prodigy（13～15歳）：自由選曲のプログラム、10～15分。リサイタル：30～40分。
- Artist（16～20歳）：自由選曲のプログラム、15～18分。リサイタル：40～50分。
時代区分、作曲家、ソナタの楽章、協奏曲の楽章の指定はありません。13歳以上は対照的な曲目を含めることを推奨しますが、年少の応募者には必須ではありません。

選考・リサイタルの機会
- 選ばれた演奏家には、年齢部門に適した個人リサイタルをヨーロッパで行う機会を提供します。
- 演奏時間は上記の目安に基づき、年齢、曲目、準備状況に応じて調整することがあります。
- 最終プログラム、会場、日程、演奏時間および公演条件はK Novartの承認を要します。
- 技巧、音楽性、解釈、芸術的な将来性、リサイタルを行う準備状況に基づき選考します。
- 審査水準と公演枠により、各部門で複数名、1名、または該当者なしとすることがあります。
動画・一般規則
- 各曲は途中で止めずに無編集で収録してください。
- 慣例として楽譜を使用する作品、または事前承認がある場合を除き、暗譜で演奏してください。
- K Novartは提出動画およびリサイタルの録音・映像を記録保存・広報に使用できます。
- 審査結果は最終決定であり、異議申立てはできません。

선발 및 리사이틀 기회
- 선정된 연주자에게 유럽에서 연령 부문에 적합한 개인 리사이틀 기회를 제공합니다.
- 리사이틀 시간은 위 범위를 따르며, 연령·곡목·준비도에 따라 조정할 수 있습니다.
- 최종 프로그램, 장소, 날짜, 연주 시간 및 공연 조건은 K Novart의 승인을 받아야 합니다.
- 테크닉, 음악성, 해석, 예술적 잠재력 및 리사이틀 준비도를 기준으로 선발합니다.
- 오디션 수준과 공연 편성에 따라 각 부문에서 여러 명, 한 명 또는 아무도 선발하지 않을 수 있습니다.
영상 및 일반 규정
- 각 작품은 중단 없이 편집하지 않은 하나의 테이크로 촬영해야 합니다.
- 관례상 악보를 사용하는 작품 또는 사전 승인을 받은 경우를 제외하고 암보로 연주해야 합니다.
- K Novart는 제출 영상과 리사이틀 녹음·영상을 기록 보관 및 홍보 목적으로 사용할 수 있습니다.
- 심사위원의 결정은 최종적이며 이의를 제기할 수 없습니다.
