Young Music Prodigy Series
A Program to Support Outstanding Young Classical Musicians
How We Do It:
- Scholarship: Awarded to one outstanding participant per age group across all instruments.
- Opportunities: Selected Prodigies may receive interviews, invitations to prestigious music festivals, and performance opportunities, including a potential solo recital.

- Registration Deadline: 1o January 2026
- Audition Deadline (Video Submission or LIve) 15 January 2025
- Announcement of Results: 31 January 2025
Eligibility Requirements
- Nationality: Open to all nationalities.
- Age Range: 5–18 years old (age divisions specified below).
- Instruments: Piano, strings, woodwinds, and brass.
- Requirements: Candidates must demonstrate advanced technical ability, musicality, and a commitment to musical development. Prior competition or performance experience is recommended but not required.
- Application Materials: Applicants must submit one recommendation letter from their teacher, a biography, and a repertoire list with their application.
Age Divisions and Repertoire Requirements
- Young Junior Prodigy Division (Ages 5–8)
- Piano: One Baroque or Classical piece and one Romantic or 20th-century piece (total performance time: 5-8 minutes).
- Strings/Woodwinds/Brass: One technical piece and one lyrical piece, including at least one movement from a recognized concerto (total performance time: 5-8 minutes).
- Junior Prodigy Division (Ages 9–12)
- Piano: One work by J.S. Bach, one Classical sonata movement, and one piece from Romantic or Contemporary repertoire (total: 8-12 minutes).
- Strings/Woodwinds/Brass: A complete Baroque or Classical work and a contrasting Romantic or Modern work (total: 8-12 minutes).
- Young Artist Prodigy Division (Ages 13–15)
- Piano: A complete Classical sonata (single movement allowed for time constraints) and a contrasting piece from the Romantic or 20th-century repertoire (total: 10-15 minutes).
- Strings/Woodwinds/Brass: A movement from a concerto by a major composer and a contrasting solo piece from the 19th or 20th century (total: 10-15 minutes).
- Artist Division (Ages 16–18)
- Piano: A complete sonata and one additional work showcasing technical skill and expressive range (total: 12-18 minutes).
- Strings/Woodwinds/Brass: One full concerto movement and one contrasting solo piece (total: 12-18 minutes).
Audition Details
- Format:Live or video submissions (depending on the year and logistical considerations).
- Evaluation Criteria:Technique, musicality, stage presence, and interpretive ability.
- Application Fee:Young Junior and Junior division-180 USD

- 弦楽器/木管楽器/金管楽器: 完全なバロックまたは古典派作品1曲と、対照的なロマン派または現代作品1曲（合計8～12分）
若きアーティスト天才部門（13～15歳）
- ピアノ: 完全な古典派ソナタ（制限時間内なら楽章1つでも可）と、対照的なロマン派または20世紀作品1曲（合計10～15分）
- 弦楽器/木管楽器/金管楽器: 主要作曲家による協奏曲の楽章1つと、対照的な19世紀または20世紀のソロ作品1曲（合計10～15分）
アーティスト部門（16～18歳）
- ピアノ: 完全なソナタ1曲と、高度な技術と表現力を示す追加作品1曲（合計12～18分）
- 弦楽器/木管楽器/金管楽器: 協奏曲の完全な楽章1つと、対照的なソロ作品1曲（合計12～18分）
